In mid-April, Europa-Universität Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) opened the Viadrina Coworking Space located in the city center. The building, previously conceived as a canteen with DDR charm, was converted over five years for a total of 17,5 million euros. The result is an innovative, flexibly usable space that will serve Viadrina students, staff, and startups as a teaching and working environment, while enabling encounters between the city and the university. About 1.500 square meters will be available for individual and collaborative learning, research and work.

In executing the project, we, the PTAI team, were commissioned with project management services for project stages 3 to 5 in the areas A to E; we also provided support for BNB certification and the tendering of various construction lots. We were among the more than 400 guests at the ceremonial opening of the coworking space and will now internally complete the project with final services up to late summer.
