After a 13-month construction period (including demolition and extensive special civil engineering measures as well as compensatory measures for nature conservation), the grand opening of the REWE supermarket in Heinrich-Heine-Straße in Bad Liebenwerda took place on 19 November 2024. The new store was built according to a model building specification with DGNB certification and features a spacious sales area, a separate snack bar and a bakery. REWE also offers an online pick-up service.
