Following the demolition of the Pitstop, REWE and beverage store, the construction of the new REWE store in Radebeul began on 10 February 2025. However, the new store will not be built according to a model building specification but will focus on regionality. This includes a façade cladding with wine, the placement of the city’s own Radebeul lettering on the large curve of the façade and the design of the façade with translucent polycarbonate elements. The opening is planned for November 2025.
